Our trip to Beijing began at 2:30am as we met at Vincent Massey and took the bus to Winnipeg.  A smooth flight to Vancouver with a four hour layover in the Vancouver airport.  

After a ten and a half hour flight to Beijing and an hour bus ride throught downtown we arrived at our hotel.  Forty five minutes to freshen up and then off to our first dinner in Beijing.

Everyone is exhausted and early to bed. Tomorrow - Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Chinese Tea Ceremony and a Kung Fu show - Whew!
